Course Description:
Christian Religious Studies for Basic 8 helps learners understand the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the spread of the gospel. It equips learners with biblical values to guide their faith, choices, and relationships with others in everyday life.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain the meaning and significance of Jesus’ baptism and temptation by giving at least two key lessons from each event.
- Discuss how Jesus related with people, sinners, and the sick, and identify two ways learners can practice compassion in daily life.
- Describe the effect of the Holy Spirit on the early disciples and demonstrate one example of how the Spirit empowers Christians today.
- Trace the spread of Christianity to Samaria and the activities of Paul by listing at least three contributions to the growth of the early church.
- Analyse the importance of God’s law, freedom, and the Bible as revelation by summarizing their relevance to modern Christian living in a short written exercise.
